ABOUT

Helen Fairclough began her career, landing her first job at the Rainforest Foundation UK created by Sting and Trudie Styler with Dr. Franca Sciuto, human rights lawyer and Chair, Amnesty International. Its early mission - to defend and demarcate the homeland of the Kayapo Indigenous people, in the Xingu region of Brazil's Amazon rainforest.

After her fundraising and campaigning success with the Rainforest Foundation UK, Helen went on to develop her fundraising career amongst the British establishment at the National Trust, leading their first ever major donor campaign for one of the most prominent historic houses in the national collection. She designed the Trust's fastest selling, high profile fundraiser and staged it at Westminster Abbey, winning her early credibility and positioning her as an innovative and naturally talented fundraiser.

She went on to lead successful and innovative major donor programmes for NGOs worldwide, before setting up an independent fundraising design consultancy, looking after high-level conservation and humanitarian portfolios for well-known international philanthropists, from the music and entertainment industries, film production, creative arts and political and sporting arenas. She continues to lead and design bespoke campaigns and fundraisers for global conservation and humanitarian organisations.

More recently Helen has been associated with anti-poaching and wildlife protection campaigns and the protection of critically endangered species via the 'The Charge' initiative which supports; Peace Parks Foundation, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Zambezi Wildlife Trust, Conservation Lower Zambezi, Wilderness Foundation, George Adamson Wildlife Preservation Trust, Space for Giants and the Klitschko Foundation.
